About Me
Welcome! I am the Founder of the eCoin Forum. I, also, am an avid Numismatist and New York City Attorney. I love Antiques, Rare Coins, Stamps and Watches, primarily because these are tangible artifacts of history.

I designed this Online Community for Numismatists. Here collectors can exchange information and share pictures of their proud collections. You can read about Current Coin News and Trends. Here you can Chat, Socialize, Debate, and Discuss Ideas with other collectors like you. Coins are meant to be shared with others. Use this forum to post events, comments, discussions and create your own personal profile. For your profile pic feel free to post a coin of your choice or a personal photo.
About my Coin Collection
I had a successful Ebay Coin Business (Username: Jackrussellbooks - 100% Positive Feedback) when I was in law school and was able to acquire a comprehensive collection while creating valuable coin portfolios for my clients. I collect Rare, Modern, World, USA, and Ancient Coins. I have a large Collection of World Gold and Silver Coins! However, my focus is on American Coins and I prefer older coins to modern ones.

I possess a variety of Pre 1933 Gold Dollars from the tiny 1 Dollar Coin of the California Gold Rush to the Gaudens Double Eagle. Most of my many valuable coins are PCGS or NGC Certified with a few ICG and ANACS. I have a large stockpile of common date US silver and gold coins as well. The Bulk of my Collection was acquired when Gold Prices were below $500.00 USD per troy ounce. My Oldest Coin is a Silver Drachma with Alexander the Great's Portrait!
About my Favorite Coin
I especially love my collection of Rare Proof Coins from the late 1800s and early 1900s! These are low mintage Proof and Beautiful Works of Art.
My Favorite Numismatic Books
"The Expert's Guide to Collecting & Investing in Rare Coins: Secrets Of Success" by Q. David Bowers; "100 Greatest U.S. Coins" by Jeff Garrett and Ron Guth
My Coin Wish List
I am hoping one day to own a Gauden's Ultra High Relief Double Eagle! I want a complete set of coins of the many Western Roman Emperors! I would also like a Complete Set of Early Silver Half Dollar US Commemoratives in Mint State 65

Hi. You wanted to know what I think when it come to the effect this new depression will have. I personally believe that we will not truely understand how to judge it because it it nothing like the first depression in this country and its effect on coins will not be the same.
I think that I will probably increase the value for coins.
One reason for this increase in value will be partially because there is more tool out there to monitor coins and marketing of those coins.
